Environmental Impact Statements(EIS)
ESA
Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) are a common requirement for most commercial real estate transactions or refinancing. The ESA provides the appropriate inquiry into the property and identifies potential liabilities associated with other laws and regulations.
NORTECH utilizes standard procedures, but will tailor an ESA to a client's specific needs. The ESAs can be modified to include non-standard concerns such as asbestos-containing materials (ACM), lead-based paint, wetlands, radon, and lead in drinking water.
NORTECH provides full-service capabilities to meet the needs of our clients from assessment through remedial design and oversight. We have successfully completed numerous site assessments on a fast-track schedule to satisfy the requirements of the client. Assessments have been performed on small properties and on very large industrial properties.

NORTECH's goal is to bring our clients’ projects into complete compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). We can assist you in developing and submitting professional, accurate, and timely EISs which secure expeditious licensing for your projects. We are qualified and experienced in providing Categorical Exclusions (CAT), Findings of No Significant Impact (FONSI), Environmental Assessments (EA), and Impact Statements (EIS).
As a third-party consultant, it is NORTECH's responsibility to bring objective expertise to each proposed project.
NORTECH has established a reputation for responding to both agency and proponent needs without compromising the integrity of the NEPA process.
