Indoor Air Quality (IAQ)
NORTECH’s Indoor Air Quality Surveys are designed to identify contaminants that may impair workers' health or productivity.
Our Indoor Air Quality Survey generally includes the following components:
Evaluation of the facility use and design criteria
Identification of seasonal adjustments
Routine maintenance activities evaluation
Encouraging tenant and staff participation in the survey to identify potential problems and also serve a public relations function
Evaluating the ventilation systems for operating capacity relative to design criteria
Technical sampling collection and analysis
Evaluation of exposure data relative to both regulatory standards and current medical research
Comprehensive written report (including an executive summary) which discusses significant findings and potential solutions
And more specifically, we may include:
Carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, temperature, relative humidity surveys
Total and respirable particulates monitoring
Asbestos and lead surveys
Ultrafine particle measurements
Microbiological/bioaerosol sampling for mold and bacteria.
Total volatile organic compounds (TVOCs) surveys
Formaldehyde testing
Legionella sp. testing
