NORTECH partnered with the USDA Forest Service to support debris removal, asbestos abatement, and site restoration at the remote Corner Bay Administrative Site, accessible only by boat in the Tongass National Forest.
Our team managed hazardous and solid waste handling with a focus on worker safety and environmental protection. Services included health and safety planning, on-site air monitoring, and oversight of asbestos removal, fuel storage, and erosion control. NORTECH also coordinated complex project logistics and maintained detailed documentation throughout daily operations.
By combining technical expertise with careful planning, NORTECH ensured all materials were managed in compliance with federal, state, and Forest Service requirements, leaving the site safely restored and ready for its next chapter.
