Sean Heaney, EIT
Environmental Specialist
Sean has more than nine years of experience working with hazardous waste and materials. For 18 months, he worked at the Hazardous Waste disposal facility on Fort Wainwright, Alaska. From this, he gained experience in hazardous waste shipment and disposal, sampling techniques for waste determination, and material sampling.

Sean also volunteered as an Emergency Response Hazmat Technician, providing extensive safety training, unknown material identification, and knowledge of Alaska’s Incident Command System (ICS). Specifically, Sean has provided his expertise for projects that include Hazardous Material Surveys, Demolition Surveys and Oversight, Tank Inspections, Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans Inspections, Phase I Site Assessments, Asbestos Sampling, Lead Monitoring and Sampling, Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCB) Monitoring and Sampling, and Contaminated Soil Sampling.
